The sculpted rose is the whole design argument: petals coil inwards to a closed spiral centre with no stone and no bead, so the piece has a finished silhouette before any pearl is added. The strand was engineered as a jacket rather than a fixed dangle — its connecting ring passes over the same post the rose uses, so the drop hangs behind the ear rather than dragging on the piercing. The pearl spacing is the least obvious decision and the most deliberate: 8 mm, then 5 mm, then 10 mm, each separated by open chain, so the eye reads three distinct points rather than one continuous line.
Instructions
  • The pearl strand is a separate jacket — its connecting ring slides over the stud post first, then the butterfly back locks both in place behind the lobe.
  • Three faux pearls sit at 8 mm, 5 mm and 10 mm down a 1 mm mini rolo chain; the smaller middle pearl is what makes the 10 mm terminal pearl read as large.

How does the pearl strand attach to the stud?

The strand is a jacket, not a fixed dangle. At the top of the chain is a small connecting ring. Slide it over the earring post first, push the post through the piercing, then fit the butterfly back behind it. The back holds rose and strand together, and the drop hangs behind the lobe rather than pulling on the piercing. Remove the back and the ring lifts straight off — the rose-shaped studs are then a complete pair on their own.
How do I wear them from ceremony to reception?

Down the aisle, wear the strand on one side only — the 80 mm drop photographs well against a veil or updo and balances an open neckline. For the reception, slip it off and wear both rose studs, which sit flat and won't catch on a dress, veil or shayla. Afterwards the studs work as everyday wear, and the strand returns for anniversaries and formal evenings.
