The Double Sphere is built on the same convertible logic as high jewelry transformable pieces — scaled to the everyday. Two hollow rose gold spheres share a single post: the 12mm front sphere pierces the lobe conventionally, while the 14mm back sphere slides onto the post behind the ear. The result is a bold double-sphere silhouette from the front and a clean stud from any other angle. Mirror-polished rose gold plate over 925 sterling silver, 8.1g per pair. Compatible with other stud posts — the back ball can be used with any standard earring you already own. Assembled in our Dubai studio.
Instructions
  • Store in a Soft Pouch to Prevent Surface Scratches
  • Insert the 12mm front sphere into your piercing as a standard stud. Then slide the 14mm back sphere onto the post from behind the ear until it sits flush. Both spheres should feel secure before wearing. To wear stud-only, simply leave the back sphere off.

How heavy are these to wear and how do I care for the finish?

Both spheres are hollow, keeping the total weight at 8.1g per pair — lighter than they look. The double-ball construction balances weight front and back so the earring sits upright without pulling on the lobe. For the finish, wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing and keep away from perfume, chlorine, and moisture. Store in the provided box between wears.
How do I wear these two ways and can the back ball work with my own earrings?

For the double-sphere look, insert the 12mm front ball as a normal stud then slide the 14mm back ball onto the post from behind. For the single stud look, wear the front ball alone — clean, minimal, and completely different in feel. The back ball fits any standard earring post, so you can use it behind a favourite diamond or silver stud to create your own combination. Same concept as a high-jewellery jacket earring, at a fraction of the price.
