Luna Dura ring listings use European ring sizes, expressed approximately as the inner circumference in millimetres. For example, EU 54 is approximately US 7, with a ring inner diameter close to 17.19 mm. Match a ring you own to the inner diameter or measure your finger circumference, then select the EU size shown on the individual product page.

Conversion note: US and UK equivalents are approximate. Sizing charts vary slightly between manufacturers; inside diameter and circumference are the physical checks. A ring listed in an unshown size should be measured separately rather than assumed to have an available Luna Dura equivalent.

How to Measure Ring Size at Home

1. Wrap a thin, non-stretching strip of paper around the base of the intended finger, without pulling it tight.
2. Mark the overlap, straighten the strip and measure the length in millimetres; this is the approximate finger circumference.
3. Compare the measurement with the inner circumference column above. For example, 54 mm points to approximately EU 54 / US 7.
4. Check that the proposed size passes comfortably over your knuckle and repeat the measurement at least twice.

Measure when your hands are at a normal temperature, ideally later in the day. Finger sizes can change with temperature, humidity and activity. Paper and string measurements are less precise than a professional ring sizer.

How to Measure an Existing Ring

Choose a ring that fits the same finger. Measure the straight-line inside diameter across the centre, from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge, without including the metal band. Compare this result in millimetres with the chart. For best precision use a caliper rather than measuring the ring’s outside diameter.

Wide Bands, Knuckles & Ring Width

A wide band may feel tighter than a narrow ring of the same internal circumference. Measure your knuckle as well as the base of the finger, and seek advice before choosing a larger size: automatically adding a full size is not correct for every band design.

There is no universal women’s or men’s ring size: finger measurements differ by person and hand. If the gift is a surprise, discreetly measure an existing ring worn on the correct finger rather than relying on an unsupported regional average. Bracelet Size Chart: Wrist to Bracelet Length (cm & Inches)

To choose a flexible bracelet, first measure your wrist circumference just above the wrist bone. Then add approximately 1 cm for a close fit, 2 cm for a comfortable fit or 3 cm for a looser fit. The table uses measured wrist sizes, not broad overlapping wrist-size bands, so each recommendation has a consistent allowance.

Example: A 16 cm wrist plus a 2 cm comfort allowance suggests a bracelet around 18 cm (about 7.09 inches). A finished 16 cm bracelet is about 6.30 inches. Bracelet construction, clasp style and the way the maker measures length can change the final feel.

Bracelet Size Conversion: cm to Inches

If a bracelet is advertised in inches, compare the finished bracelet length, not your wrist size, with the figures below. A 7-inch bracelet measures 17.78 cm; an 8-inch bracelet measures 20.32 cm.

How to Measure Your Wrist for a Bracelet

1. Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist just above the wrist bone, without squeezing.
2. If using paper or string, mark it and measure the full length with a ruler.
3. Add your preferred fit allowance, then compare that target with the product’s actual stated length and adjustment range.

Bangle, Cuff & Tennis Bracelet Sizing

Rigid bangles: A slip-on bangle needs enough internal clearance to pass over the widest part of the folded hand and knuckles; wrist circumference alone is not sufficient. Check the inside diameter and shape of the specific bangle.

Open cuffs: Check the internal circumference, opening and rigidity. Do not repeatedly bend a metal cuff unless the design specifically allows adjustment.

Tennis, chain, bead and stretch bracelets: Closure, link and bead dimensions can change the wearable fit. Use the maker’s stated finished length and adjustment range rather than a universal bangle size.

Necklace & Chain Length Chart: cm to Inches

Necklace length is measured along the full chain, typically from end to end with the chain laid flat, including the clasp where it contributes to the stated wearable length. Width or thickness in millimetres describes a different measurement. An exact 50 cm chain is 19.69 inches, not precisely 20 inches; likewise an exact 55 cm chain is 21.65 inches, not exactly 22 inches.

Important distinction: A necklace with a 40 cm chain and a 3 cm extension adjusts from 40 cm to 43 cm. An open torque or memory-wire choker is a shaped jewellery piece and cannot be sized using a straight-chain length table alone.
