The design's quiet signature is on the back: an engraved sunburst on the reverse of the pendant, a private detail only the wearer sees, behind a front-facing lotus that frames the pear-cut amethyst. The stone is a natural amethyst, held in a handmade silver bezel whose lightly textured surface protects it while keeping the setting soft. Handmade in the Luna Dura studio, Dubai.

Colour varies gently from piece to piece, as with any natural gem, and it is held in a secure handmade silver bezel. Independent certification is available on request.

The lotus symbolises serenity and awakening, with an engraved sunburst on the reverse as a private detail for the wearer. It sits beautifully on an open or V-neckline on the 40 cm chain, and completes the amethyst lotus set with the matching cocktail ring and drop earrings.
