Two stones in two registers — a colourless white topaz reading as light, the amethyst beneath it as depth — both hand-faceted and held in silver settings that present a clean structural face to the front and a hand-engraved arabesque lotus on the reverse. Where most gemstone drops rely on a single centre stone and a plain bezel, this graduates a 12 mm amethyst beneath an 8 mm white topaz and hides a worked lotus motif on the back of each setting, so the piece reads minimal head-on and decorative in the hand.
