The wave is built into the construction: two intertwined wires follow opposing S-curves, so the earring separates and converges as it moves rather than hanging as a fixed shape. That fluid, organic line draws on the Art Nouveau tradition of rejecting rigid geometry in favour of forms found in nature, like water currents and flowing ribbon. A high-polish pure silver plate over the 925 base holds its brightness longer than a bare silver finish.
