A single round CZ solitaire held at the base of a sculpted open arc in 925 sterling silver — the Swirl pendant is designed around one idea: light caught in motion. The arc cups the stone from below while a diagonal pavé-set arm sweeps upward, creating a directional line that reads as movement against the chest. At 22 mm in height and 10 mm in width, the pendant is proportioned for the collarbone rather than the décolleté — precise enough to stand alone, restrained enough to layer. A fine cable chain with a 3 cm extender completes the piece at 41 cm.

  • Wear & Fit

    Fasten the lobster clasp at the nape before putting the necklace on to protect the chain links and extender
    The pendant hangs with a slight forward tilt due to the arc form — this is intentional and positions the CZ solitaire to face outward at the collarbone
    Use the 3 cm extender to adjust placement: shorter length keeps the pendant higher and more visible against open necklines, longer length suits crew or boat necks
    For layering, allow at least 5 cm of length difference between this and any additional chain in the stack
  • Care & Cleaning
    Wipe the 925 sterling silver chain and Swirl pendant with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove skin oils and moisture. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners — vibration can loosen the micro-pavé CZ in the diagonal arm and shift the round solitaire in its prong setting. Keep sunscreen, perfume, and household chemicals away from the pendant, as surface solvents accelerate tarnish on exposed silver and can dull CZ over repeated exposure. For deeper cleaning, use a damp soft cloth on the pendant only and dry immediately. Do not submerge the lobster clasp or extender links in water.

Is the CZ in this necklace durable for everyday wear?

Cubic zirconia rates 8 to 8.5 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it suitable for regular wear with appropriate care. Unlike natural gemstones, CZ does not have cleavage planes that fracture under impact, but the settings that hold the stones can loosen over time if exposed to ultrasonic cleaning or hard knocks. Clean the pendant with a soft damp cloth only. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners, silver dips, or abrasive polishes, as these can loosen the pavé CZ stones in the diagonal arm and dull the high-polish silver surface. Keep away from sunscreen and perfume. The CZ solitaire in the arc setting is secured by four prongs — inspect the prong tips periodically and contact us if any stone appears to shift.
