Where the Bars Drops use a flat linear geometry, this design suspends a fully polished silver sphere inside an open wire frame, allowing the orb to rotate and shift freely with movement. This is a construction method not widely found in the UAE market at this price point — most local competitors at AED 215 offer static drop forms with no internal movement. Crafted in 925 sterling silver with a 999 pure silver plate, the high-polish surface creates intense light play as the orb spins. At 3.8 g per pair and 40 x 10 mm, the elongated silhouette frames the jawline without weight. Assembled in the Luna Dura studio, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.
Instructions
  • Store in the Luna Dura gift box with the lid closed after each wear. Humidity accelerates tarnish on silver-plated surfaces — avoid leaving the earrings in bathrooms or humid environments. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources, which can dull the plating over time. The open wire frame has multiple contact points — store flat or in the box divider to prevent the frame from pressing against other pieces and scratching the polished sphere. For extended storage, place a small anti-tarnish strip inside the box. The 999 silver plate provides strong tarnish resistance; consistent storage in the gift box preserves this.
  • Open the fish hook gently before inserting; avoid pulling the wire frame while placing.
    The suspended orb moves freely — this is intentional; handle the earring by the hook, not the frame, to avoid bending.
