A pierced filigree teardrop — the lace-like shughl mukharram of traditional Middle Eastern metalwork — frames a single frosted glass bead, then drops short strands of millefiori Murano glass that swing and catch the light as you move. What sets this pair apart in the Luna Dura range is the hand-set glass: the beads are imported from the same Italian source that supplies Murano millefiori to European jewellers, and because each is individually coloured, no two strands and no two pairs are ever alike.
