Mother of Pearl is nacre — the natural material that lines the inner shell of mollusks and has been used in jewelry across the Middle East, Asia, and the Mediterranean for centuries. The white heart center here is a genuine shell slice, not painted or coated. Its iridescence is a property of the material itself: the way the shell's microscopic layers refract light creates the shift between white, cream, and faint blush that no synthetic surface replicates consistently. The CZ halo encircles the heart perimeter, the raised bow sits centered on the shell, and the rhodium plating gives the setting a cool bright finish that holds against the white of the shell without competing. The pendant reverses to a smooth polished silver heart — a second, quieter version of the same piece. Each Mother of Pearl component is inspected by our in-house gemologist.
