The design's quiet signature is on the back: an engraved sunburst on the reverse of the pendant, a private detail only the wearer sees, behind a front-facing lotus that frames the pear-cut centre stone. The stone is a natural quartz whose electric magenta comes from irradiation, held in a handmade silver bezel whose lightly textured surface protects it while keeping the setting soft. Handmade in the Luna Dura studio, Dubai.

  • The magenta is an irradiation colour treatment on natural quartz — standard, stable and permanent. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the silver bright; tone varies slightly from piece to piece.
  • Store in a soft pouch or the Luna Dura box, apart from other pieces, to prevent scratches to the silver.
