The Amethyst Cocktail Ring is the only Luna Dura piece combining a natural gemstone with an architectural half-bezel bridge at Statement tier weight. Most UAE amethyst rings use prong settings; this open-profile bezel secures the stone on its short ends only, leaving both long faces exposed so light floods through the baguette-cut amethyst from all angles. At 8.15 carats and 10.5 grams, it carries the deliberate weight of fine architecture. The bare 925 sterling silver finish is intentional — it develops a natural patina that deepens the contrast with the purple stone over time, a living finish no plate can replicate. Instructions
  • Store in the Luna Dura gift box with the lid closed, away from direct sunlight — prolonged UV exposure can gradually fade natural amethyst. The intentional patina on the bare 925 silver will continue to develop naturally; store away from humidity to control the rate of development, but do not attempt to reverse it with silver polish or dip, as the patina contrast is a design feature. Do not store this ring in contact with other metal pieces — the wide silver band will scratch softer metals and the raised stone setting can catch on chains or delicate items. The baguette cut amethyst has step facets with defined edges — protect from hard impacts, as natural amethyst can chip at corners under direct force. The Luna Dura gift box provides the ideal storage environment.
  • This ring is made from 925 sterling silver with a bright polish finish and a natural amethyst stone. The bare silver finish is intentional — do not use liquid silver dip, ultrasonic cleaners, or aggressive polishing cloths, as these will remove the natural patina that forms over time and is part of the design character. To maintain the amethyst, avoid prolonged direct sunlight and UV exposure, which can fade the purple colour over many years. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners on this ring — amethyst can fracture under ultrasonic vibration. Remove before swimming, showering, or using chemical cleaning products. Wipe the silver and stone with a soft dry cloth after wear. Do not use soap or abrasive cloths on the amethyst surface.
