Details

The three shell variants are carved from distinct oyster species — not colorways of the same shell. White lip oyster produces a luminous white-to-cream iridescence. Black lip oyster, the same species used for Tahitian black pearls, produces a deep charcoal with green and silver undertones. Winged oyster produces a warm amber-brown with cream veining. The silver crucifix is mounted — not glued — onto the shell face, sitting raised above the surface to create a layered relief between the flat cross form and the natural depth of the shell behind it. Shell is naturally porous and lighter than stone or metal of equivalent size — at 3.5 grams per pair these wear without pull on the lobe despite the 17mm width of the cross form. Each natural shell component is inspected by our in-house gemologist. Independent certification is available upon request.

  • Avoid contact with hard surfaces to prevent chipping the natural shell.
  • Store in a soft pouch when not in use to protect the natural shell surface and prevent the fish hook from bending.
